Would it be better to leave my rabbits in the garage or outside?

Hello, everyone. I have a question about where my rabbits' cage should be. I'm working more these days and I only open my rabbits' cage once a day for about 5-20 minutes. They stay in the garage in a hutch. Would it be better to keep them in the garage or take their hutch outside? Please, keep in mind the warm weather in June and July and the thunderstorms that are going around. I live in Wayne County, MI. Please, also, explain why I should put them where you recommend.
