I'm thinking of getting a pet cow but everyone I see has poop stuck to it's rear?

Do all cows have issues with defecating? I think some cows are so cute but I really don't think I want a pet cow with feces stuck to it all the time. Anyone ever met mini-cow breeds? There are 26 or so breeds, I wonder if they have the same poop issues. This honestly is a serious question, because I like cows but if they really are that messy I'll reconsider. Please only people familiar with farm animals reply. Thanks!
